Ohio based grocery, Fishers Foods, adapts to the times and now offers grocery delivery. "Fishers To Go" is the latest installation to bring the Northeast Ohio grocery chain into the 21st century.
Fishers Foods was founded in 1933 by Joseph Fisher, an immigrate from Russia. The original store was called "Fishers Super Market" so small the store didn't even have its own parking lot. Being able to adapt to its consumers started back in the first store. Taking suggestions for new products grew the store to house over 400,000 different products. Customer suggestions have always been apart of Fishers Foods success story, so much so that listening to their shoppers paved the way for grocery delivery.
Fishers To Go launched mid September which allows shoppers to access store products 24/7. A virtual shopping cart can be filled with consumers favorite Fishers products and then be hand delivered by local delivery service, DeliverThat. Fishers press release describes the service in greater detail.
DeliverThat is excited to partner with a local grocery store as we begin to deliver a new market, grocery. Fishers and DeliverThat look forward to this great partnership and can't wait to serve our hometown residents. If you live in Northeast Ohio and are looking to try this new service, visit, fishersfoods.com/shop to it out!
