Meet Jeff G, a valued member of our driver fleet in Orlando, Florida. Jeff brings more than just his delivery skills to the table; he delivers with a dedication that stems from his family values and a passion for gig driving. Let's dive into Jeff's journey and learn what makes him one of our stellar drivers.
Jeff isn't just familiar with Orlando; he's practically a local, having moved to the city from Spain with his parents 23 years ago.
When it comes to gig jobs, Jeff is an expert. He's worked with Uber Eats, DoorDash, Walmart Delivery, Instacart, GrubHub, Amazon, Go Puff, and several other catering companies. His extensive experience demonstrates his knack for the gig economy. Outside of gig driving, Jeff's life is filled with family picnics, fishing excursions, and, when he find the time, video games.
Before turning to the gig economy, Jeff worked as a Financial Recovery Specialist and gained experience in sales and customer service. His diverse background equips him with strong communication and problem-solving skills while on the road. Jeff stumbled upon DeliverThat while searching for more gig opportunities on a job board. It opened the door to a world of catering deliveries. His first DeliverThat delivery was an amalgamation of nervousness and excitement. A new app meant a new learning curve, but Jeff was thrilled to join a company that offered catering jobs. His expectation? A smooth delivery.
In the gig economy, the freedom to work on one's terms is often the biggest benefit. "In the gig economy, the freedom to work on one's terms is often the biggest benefit. For me, it's all about spending more time with my family and having control over my work schedule," Jeff said. Since our inception, DeliverThat has been a company By Drivers, For Drivers. We look at all problems through the eyes of a driver and work to find the best solution to benefit the drivers. Jeff values the company's driver-centric approach. Knowing that the company was founded by drivers who understand the challenges on the road provides a sense of security and trust. "To me it means that the company has my best interest at heart and will provide me with the tools needed to succeed. Since it was founded by drivers that have experienced the same obstacles, we drivers face while doing these live deliveries," he said.
Jeff's success on the DeliverThat platform is attributed to his strong connection with the in-house support team and his familiarity with job schedules in his market. Jeff's advice to new drivers is to be well-prepared. Get a cart and carry a minimum of four catering hot bags. Presentation is key, so take your time setting up.
In closing, Jeff emphasizes the support he receives from the entire DeliverThat team. Jeff's story is a testament to the drivers who bring their unique experiences and passion to the DeliverThat family, making us proud to have them on board. Thank you, Jeff, Keep #DeliveringMore!
